Who is Magoo

Magoo del Mundo many years & pounds ago

Songwriter-instrumentalist, Magoo del Mundo, started his musical journey with the guitar. He eventually switched to the bass when a member of the music ministry he was in told him he was better off as a bassist. 

It was the second best decision Magoo has ever made in his life. The first was when he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  

Since then, Magoo has written & directed music and songs for theater and one-act plays; back ground music for video games, indie film, documentary and for himself. He has also written Praise and Worship songs for Church. Among the many things he entangles himself in is being the Worship Director of Building Bridges Ministries, a small, organic church that loves God, loves music and meets in a bar in Makati, Sunday nights.

He is also invited as a speaker during Youth Camps, Music Camps, Retreats and Conferences. Leadership development, Music Ministry development and Succession Planning are among his fave topics. Magoo still teaches Worship Band Dynamics and Bass on occasion (which is actually more often than not). 

He finished his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas then pursued Bachelor of Music in Musicology at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He took his M.A. in Organizational Leadership from the GCFSM Leadership Institute and is currently enrolled in the MBA program of the Asian Theological Seminary. He really would like to believe that this is the last academic degree he will pursue.

At least until he gets grandkids. 

Magoo is still trying to play the Erhu, loves music, photography, the bass and Jesus. He is forever on a quest to learn new pasta recipes.
