FUN WITH FRIENDS!
I find it amazing how time can fly when you're with friends, talking about things you love.Today marked a wonderful time of talking about story, character development, User Interfaces and my favorite topic: Music! Me and a group of friends had the wonderful privilege to work with Ria Lu, CEO of a premier game developing company in the Philippines. She has been helping us get our little "project" up and running, and has also been very patient in helping us learn the ropes of game design.

RETROVIBE
I was able to test Ria's upcoming game, Starstruck, yesterday. Admittedly, Im not a gamer (some of my friends say I don't even qualify as a casual gamer), but I really loved playing with the beta version they allowed me to fiddle around with. The game has a Street Fighter feel to it, but the controls reminded me of Infinity Blade. Sounds weird? Not really. Intuitive and really fun, I found myself getting hooked. If I were to describe it, I'd say it's de-stressingly addictive.
Click here to check out Starstruck's trailer on YouTube. It will be available on the iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 platforms come December 2011. Echos! ^_^

PERSPECTIVE
I look forward to Wednesdays. It's because I get to spend a good chunk of my evening with my crazy small group, which we have come to lovingly call SOEN (and no, none of us are part of the undergarments company). We just come together and share life and see how God has been moving in our respective walks. We had time reflecting on how important how important it is to see things from God's perspective as based in Psalm 8. It was a really fun and in-depth time of just studying the Bible.
